We offer psychiatric medication management, non-residential alcohol and drug rehab (Vivitrol only), group therapies and urine drug screenings.

NU Pathways Recovery has a very robust referral system for other services that may not be offered on campus.

Do you need to have a primary care provider (PCP) to attend NU Pathways Recovery?

Accepted Answer

It is preferred that all clients have a PCP, but we know that is not always the case so NPR has a home health nurse practitioner who may provide a medical service as needed and we also have  PCP's that we refer you to below.

What if I rather not talk to a medical doctor about my mental health. What other options are there?

Accepted Answer

It is important to know that some people recover from mental health conditions without use of medical treatment. However, it is also possible that some disorders, or the severity of a disorder, may require medical intervention. Psychotherapy and medical intervention are also an effective approach.
